Right now Coombe uses us reactively — an Academy place here, a one-to-one there, each set up and extended individually. It works, and the teaching is already proven at Coombe Girls'. But it's the most expensive and least predictable way to buy it. A standing shared Blueprint provision, built once on Coombe's own schemes of study and pooled across the Girls' and Boys' schools, is cheaper, always ready, and far simpler to run — carrying the same teaching Coombe Girls' already knows.

Shared across Girls' & Boys'

Coombe Girls' alone rarely has enough pupils at once to fill a focused group. Pooling the two New Malden secondaries' need fixes that: groups fill, no seat is wasted, children are placed by need not by school.

The structure & cost of the live Academy sessions

The live Academy place runs at £139 per pupil per week — 15 fifty-minute live sessions split evenly across the three core subjects (5 English, 5 Maths, 5 Science), on our scheme and timetable, in a group of up to six. That's about £9.27 per pupil per hour. Higher tiers stack on top: £169/week adds PSHE, Careers and PE; electives at £29.17/hour. The standing shared Blueprint is the cheaper route once the trust commits.

Do you offer face-to-face tutoring?

We're a live online provision — our Ofsted accreditation is specifically for online education, and that's where our quality and safeguarding controls sit; we don't place in-person tutors. Instead you get a specialist teacher for any subject regardless of who's local, cover that starts within days, and a pupil who can attend from home, your inclusion room or AP — every session recorded, observed and reported. It runs comfortably alongside a school-based mentor or TA.

What a school uses us for: live group teaching of your at-risk pupils, inside your own timetable, schemes of work and behaviour systems.

Blueprint is the option schools choose when they want a restorative alternative to exclusion that still keeps the pupil on roll and on the curriculum. How quickly can provision start?

Blueprint typically starts within five working days of confirmation; Academy within 48 hours. We block the whole year up front so teachers and slots are fixed from day one.

Do lessons run on our curriculum, or yours?

Blueprint runs on your scheme of work, timetable and behaviour policy — we teach your pupils your way. Academy uses our full managed curriculum for pupils who need a complete timetable. Either way, pupils stay on your roll.

How are teachers checked?

Every teacher is qualified, with enhanced DBS, references and qualifications verified and recorded on a single central record. Clearances are confirmed to your business manager before delivery, and you get the same named teachers every week.

What about exams and accreditation?

We support GCSE and Functional Skills entry, and can arrange a local exam-centre pathway where a pupil can't sit them with you. We're a registered, Ofsted-accredited online provider (DfE URN 152279).

How does safeguarding work with our DSL?

We have a named DSL (Bella Ma) and deputy. Concerns are triaged the same day and escalated, with a clear line straight to your DSL and to children's services where needed. Every lesson is recorded; every pupil has an anonymous route to raise a concern.

How is it priced, and can we stop?

Priced per group or per session, not per registered pupil, invoiced monthly with no set-up fee. There's a free one-week pilot, and provision can be stopped on short notice — you pay for what runs.
